Artist Introduction

來自埃及、現居英國的雕塑家 Sam Shendi，擅長以鮮豔色彩與簡潔的抽象人物造型，探索人類最真實的情感與生命經驗。他畢業於開羅赫勒萬大學（Helwan University）美術學院，早期以具象人物雕塑創作為主，隨著創作歷程的累積，逐漸發展出極簡卻富有辨識度的抽象風格。

這件雕塑作品以垂直的色彩和形態構成，探索了平衡與不穩定之間微妙的關係。層疊的幾何體塊彷彿挑戰重力，在重量與輕盈之間營造出視覺張力。每個元素都與其他元素相互依存，成為人際關係以及支撐我們生活的相互關聯的結構的隱喻。作品運用大膽的色彩和簡潔的造型，讚頌了脆弱和諧之美以及平衡中蘊藏的靜謐韌性。

A vertical constellation of colour and form, this sculpture explores the delicate relationship between balance and instability. Stacked geometric volumes appear to challenge gravity, creating a visual tension between mass and weightlessness. Each element depends upon the others, becoming a metaphor for human relationships and the interconnected structures that support our lives. Through bold colour and simplified form, the work celebrates the beauty of precarious harmony and the quiet resilience found in balance.
